The students of 10 electro-technical vocational schools joined the competition of theoretical and practical knowledge of NAM system technologies – 1Box communicators, receivers and alarm receiving centres.
The competition is one of many activities that are carried out as part of NAM system educational programs with the aim to support students of technical schools.
Students from around the Czech Republic had the chance to test their knowledge and utilize their experience while under certain amount of stress and in unknown environment. They have competed in four areas:
- REGGAE communicators setup
- Definition of a monitored object in NET-G software
- General knowledge test of alarm security and emergency systems, electronic fire alarm systems and alarm receiving centre
Experienced technicians and specialists were available throughout the entire venue to ensure a proper course of the competition. The goal of each contestant was to connect, set, put into work and program all the devices used for object protection.
At the end of the day the best students were selected and awarded attractive prices.
One hour of practice is more important than several hours of theory. We are glad we can support student in obtaining some real knowledge and help them become more attractive for their potential future employers.
